Up? A direction for a photography topic? Well, why the hell not!

This week, I had a little model help. I’m not very good at directing people for my photographs. Sure, I knew exactly what I wanted him to do, but I didn’t want to tell him what to do. So, instead, I asked him what he suggested. Then, he did his thing, and I secretly got at least one of the shots I wanted.

As to how I think my photos turned out…they’re alright. It’s certainly not artsy or editorial. And I obviously haven’t grasped exposure bracketing or burst mode, but I did manage to get some good quality photos that have some interest to them.

This week, I think I accidentally delved into sports photography a bit. Yikes!
There is so much I need to learn before I try something like this again. [Update: I learned more! Check out my Sports blog post!] I’m sure my camera has the capability when it comes to capturing these images, but I felt disappointed in it this week.

My unwitting model asked why didn’t I put my camera on continuous (or as he said “make it go clickclickclickclick”). Sigh. It was on continuous.

More on Sports Photography later as I’m just about to read a chapter about it. So, I’ll get back to you.

In the mean time…
